Arnold Counseling and Neurofeedback, LLC is committed to providing its patients with quality and affordable healthcare. We work hard to contain expenses and still provide attentive care with up-to-date technology. Our fees represent an excellent value by comparison with other practitioners in our community with similar training and experience.

Payment in full is expected at each visit.
A brief, get-acquainted visit (if desired) may be arranged. It lasts about 30 minutes and is free of charge.

A comprehensive intake visit lasts about 2 hours and usually consists of an in-depth interview where the therapist will gather information regarding the client's past and gathering psychological and medical information in the process. This visit costs between $200 - 400 depending on the length and complexity of the visit.

A session of EEG neurofeedback lasts for a clinical hour, with roughly 10 additional minutes of set up, sensor placement, and patient updates and reports.  A neurofeedback session, individual counseling session, or a combined session costs $180.

Insurance
Arnold Counseling and Neurofeedback, LLC participates in some insurance plans, which are outline below.  PLEASE NOTE THAT INSURANCE COMPANIES DO NOT COVER NEUROFEEDBACK OUTRIGHT.  While insurance companies are not likely to cover for neurofeedback services, we will provide bills and medical documentation that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Knowing your insurance benefits is your responsibility. Please contact your insurance company with any questions you may have regarding your coverage for our services.

Medicare non-covered services
Please be aware that Medicare does not cover the services that we provide. You must pay for these services in full at the time of visit.

Nonpayment
Partial payments will not be accepted unless otherwise negotiated. Please be aware that if a balance remains unpaid, we may refer your account to a collection agency and you and your immediate family members may be discharged from this practice. If this is to occur, you will be notified by regular and certified mail that you have 30 days to find alternative medical care. Our therapist(s) will only be able to treat you on an emergency basis if your account is past due and arrangements have not been made to pay money owed.

Missed appointments
We acknowledge that we are navigating unpredictable times, and appreciate being notified as soon as possible about the need to reschedule or cancel appointments. One (1) full working day’s notice (24 hours) is required for cancelling or rescheduling appointments outside of an emergency. The Arnold Counseling and Neurofeedback, LLC policy is to charge for the full session fee for missed appointments or those canceled with less than 24 hours notice. These charges will be your responsibility and billed directly to you. Please help us to serve you better by keeping your regularly scheduled appointment.

Written reports
Written reports to agencies, professionals and insurance companies, as well as review of documents such as test reports or hospital records will be billed at a rate of $75 per 10 minutes.

Telephone calls
Telephone calls or email processing of 10 minutes or longer will be billed at a rate of $65 per 10 minutes.

 

Emergencies
Our therapist(s) is not available for emergencies. Emergency problems should be referred to your regular physicians or a hospital emergency room. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1. Urgent matters will be dealt with during normal business hours.
